We say goodbye to our longtime administrative leader couple Werner Mathys and Marion Barak and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all they have done for “l’eau c’est la vie” and the community in Cameroon. Thanks to their efforts, not only has access to clean drinking water been improved, but educational opportunities, economic opportunities, and the overall health of the villages have been positively impacted.

At the same time, we are pleased to have found a motivated and competent successor in Marisa Halter and Michaël Golay. Both bring a lot of experience and know-how and are ideally suited to continue the work together with the technical director couple Balz Koller and Angelina Schaffner.

We wish Marion and Werner only the best for the future and our newly assembled leadership much joy and success in the task of improving the living conditions of the people in Otélé and the surrounding area.
